UPDATE: The GT waterfront is still closed Saturday morning, 22 December, due to the need for clean up on Harbour Drive.
The RCIPS is encouraging motorist to avoid using North Church Street to South Church Street until further notice is given.
This area is experiencing high tide and rough water that is coming over onto the roadway making it unsafe for use.
Alternatively motorists can use Central Georgetown and Walker's Road and further press release will advise when the roadway is clear and ready for use.
