The man, age 34, residing in Bodden Town, who was arrested in relation to the fatal collision on 21 April, 2025, on Bodden Town Road, has been formally charged with Causing Death by Dangerous Driving, Driving a Vehicle While under the Influence of Alcohol thereby Causing Death, and Dangerous Driving.
The RCIPS issues road closures and traffic delays for the period between 8 to 10 November.
Police investigate fatal vehicle collision that took place on West Bay Road involving two pedestrians, one of whom was pronounced deceased and the other was transported to the hospital and is being treated for serious injuries.
Police investigate a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a police vehicle. The occupants of the motorcycle were transported to the hospital, where they are being treated for serious injuries. The police officers were treated and later released. Investigations are ongoing into this matter.

From 4:30PM today, Thursday, 23 May, representatives from various Cayman Islands law enforcement agencies will be taking part in the Law Enforcement Torch Run, which marks the opening ceremony of the 2024 Special Olympics.
Police have identified the names of the deceased victims that were involved in the fatal collision that took place on 13 May. Condolences are being offered to the families and friends of the deceased victims.
