Update: Men Charged in Relation to JMU Drug Interdiction, 16 September

16th September, 2019

Just after 6:20 AM on Saturday, 14 September, the Joint Marine Unit along with the Air Operations Unit were conducting maritime boarder patrols on the northeast coast of Grand Cayman, on board the Motor Vessel M.Luke when they came across a vessell with two men onboard. The men were arrested and have since been charged.

Shot Fired on Selkirk Drive, 16 September

Shortly after 11:00PM on Sunday, 15 September, officers responded to a report of shots fired at an address off Selkirk Drive, George Town, where an unknown person had fired a shot at the house. No one was injured in the incident and the matter is currently under police investigation.
