Shortly before 9:30PM Wednesday, 28 July, officers responded to a report of an incident at an address off Spotts Newlands Road in George Town. As a result a man age 28 of George Town, was arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass and multiple counts of indecent exposure. He remains in police custody as investigations continue.
Shortly after 9:15PM on Friday, 23 July, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at an address on Palm Dale Avenue in George Town, involving two masked men. No shots were fired and no one was injured during the incident.
Shortly after 1:15AM on Friday, 23 July, officers responded to a report of an aggravated burglary at an address on Coemer Drive in George Town.
Just after 9AM today, 22 July, the Cayman Islands Coast Guard responded to the South Sound area where they recovered a capsized canoe. During a search of the vessel, several packages were recovered which are believed to contain ganja.
Man receives multiple charges in relation to the Vic's Bar Incident.
Three persons have been arrested following a report that a jet ski was stolen from an address on Rum Point Drive. The jet ski was recovered and the persons have been bailed as investigations continue.
At around 11:20AM on Tuesday, 20 July, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre dispatched police and other emergency services to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Bodden Town Road. One person was subsequently pronounced dead.
Shortly after 7:00PM on Thursday, 15 July, officers responded to a report of a wounding at an address on Powell Smith Road, West Bay. It was reported that two men known to each other had been involved in an altercation which resulted in one of the men wounding the other with a knife.
Just after 1:45AM today, 9 July, police and other emergency services were dispatched to a report of a shooting incident that took place at Vic's Bar on Seymour Drive, George Town. It was reported that multiple persons at the location received gunshot wounds, with one man dying as a result.
