Shortly after 2:00AM today, 28 January, officers responded to a report of a stabbing on Hirst Road, Bodden Town, in the vicinity of Butterfly Circle. It was reported that two men at the location were involved in an altercation with each other and both had received multiple stab wounds.
Over the past two weekends, 14 – 16 and 21 – 24 January, the RCIPS has been conducting targeted traffic operations in the Eastern Districts in response to concerns from members of the public of excessive speeding and other unsafe driving in East End and North Side, particularly during the weekend.
The prison officer, a man age 39 of West Bay, who was arrested on 9 June, 2021, on suspicion of drug offenses, was formally charged with one count of Smuggling and two counts of Possession of Ganja with Intent to Supply, on 23 September, 2021.
