The 32-year-old man, who was arrested on Wednesday, 22 April, after attempting to evade police officers along Sound Way, has now been formally charged by the police.

The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) is advising the public that a recovered item has been secured.

The Police are investigating a report of an armed robbery which took place at an address on Kennedy Drive in George Town on Friday, 24 April. 

Police officers attended an address in West Bay, in search of two missing juveniles who were believed to be harboured there.

The three men, ages 25, 18 and 29, who were arrested in relation to the robbery incident which took place on Monday, 20 April, at a jewellery store on North Church Street, have now been formally charged.

Motorists are advised that the Esterley Tibbetts Highway is currently closed between the Jay Bodden Highway and the AL Thompson Roundabout, in the vicinity of the George Town Landfill.
