About 1:50PM today, Friday 29 March, police were dispatched to the entrance of Selkirk Drive in George Town where it was reported that a single man, armed with machete, attended the location of a local food truck and demanded money from the workers present.

The RCIPS is informing the public that Harbour Drive will be closed between Fort Street and Goring Avenue on Saturday, 30 March, in order to facilitate the National Trust Glow Run. The closure will be in effect from 12:00PM to 10:00PM.
A man, age 54 of George Town, has been arrested and formally charged with Burglary in relation to an incident on 9 January, where a business on North Church Street was broken into and several items stolen. He appears in court this morning, 25 March.

On Wednesday 20 March, Beat 12 officers PC Leslie Franklin and AC Andrew Grant, after being requested by the children of the Tiffany’s Pre-School in West Bay, attended the school and spent time with the children, telling them about the roles of police officers.
Recently the officer of Beat 1 and Beat 2 organized a Football Festival Fun Day with the Youths of North Side and East End. The event was held at the Ronald Forbes Playing Field in North Side and over a dozen children from the community attended, their ages ranging from 7 years old to 17 years old.
On Thursday 14 March, the RCIPS celebrated the service and dedication of seven officers who have retired from the service former Inspector Winsome Prendergast, former Inspector Livingston Bailey, former Sergeant Clesford Lumsden, PC Mary Reese, PC Leonora Yates, AC Lawrence Woods and AC Elaine Thomas.
This afternoon, 21 March, the new RCIPS helicopter, the Airbus H145, arrived at the Air Operations Unit.
