George Town Man Arrested for Assault GBH, 30 January

Just before midnight last night, Wednesday 30 January, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a residence on Watler’s Road, George Town, where it was reported that two (2) men who are known to each other had an altercation, resulting in one of the men receiving a knife wound.

Road Closure for Hash House Harriers Cross Island Relay, 3 February

The Cayman Islands Hash House Harriers are hosting their annual Cross Island Relay on Sunday, 3 February from 6:00AM to 10:00AM. The relay will begin in Gun Bay, East End, and end at Smiths Barcadere. South Church Street will be closed between Thompson Drive and Antoinette Avenue during the race.

Single-Vehicle Collision on Bodden Town Road, 25 January

Shortly after 1:00AM today, 25 January, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre dispatched officers to a single vehicle collision which had taken place on Bodden Town Road in the Breakers area. A white Toyota Corolla left the roadway and collided with a fence, causing serious injury to the driver.
