About 1:30AM on Tuesday, 25 December police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Center to a report of shots fired in the vicinity of King Road and Florence Lane in West Bay.
After being closed for almost 2 days the Waterfront roadway is now open for public use due to extensive cleanup efforts by the national roads Authority.
Officers on duty were able to locate the 22-year-old-man of West Bay and whilst conducting a search of his person and his vehicle, found a machete in the vehicle and arrested the man on suspicion of possession of a restricted weapon at night.
