Shortly after 3:10PM on Monday, 17 July, officers responded to a report of a person in distress on the shore off Austin Conolly Drive in East End. It was reported that a man had been in the water snorkeling when he experienced difficulties. He was taken to hospital and subsequently pronounced dead.
Shortly after 10:00AM on Thursday, 13 July, officers responded to a report of a person in distress on the shore in the vicinity of Boggy Sands Road, West Bay. A woman was taken to shore after experiencing difficulty in the water and losing consciousness. She was subsequently pronounced dead.
