The RCIPS Financial Crime Investigation Unit has commenced investigations based on complaints received of fraudulent activity reported across social media platforms where is it is alleged that a person has taken payment for shutter and screen installation works never completed.
Shortly before 5:45PM on Wednesday, January 20, officers responded to a single vehicle collision at the intersection of Frank Sound Road and Bodden Town Road, where a black Ford Edge had collided with a utility pole, entered the waters near the Frank Sound Boat Ramp, and overturned.

A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI following a single-vehicle collision on Condor Road, Bodden Town on Sunday evening, 18 January, where the car involved caught fire as a result of the collision.
