Another police officer has been assaulted by a member of the public during a police interaction in the early morning. The man was arrested and is currently in custody pending further investigation.
While attempting to arrest a man wanted in relation to a violent crime, officers were obstructed and assaulted by a member of the public. Both parties were arrested and have been formally charged.

Officers conducted a search, recovering multiple packets of suspected ganja.
The RCIPS Cyber Crime Unit has become aware of a phishing SMS text message circulating in the Cayman Islands purporting to be from Cayman National Bank. The SMS claims that the your bank account has been frozen due to unusual activity, and advises to click the link in order to regain access. This text is fraudulent.
