A man, aged 31 of East End, was arrested yesterday, 27 February, on suspicion of Causing Death by Dangerous Driving in relation to the fatal accident which took place in East End on 15 February. He is currently on police bail.
Shortly before 10:45PM yesterday, 27 February, officers were dispatched to a report of a robbery in the vicinity of Patricks Island, George Town. Upon arriving home and exiting their vehicle, a man and a woman were approached by two masked men who brandished firearms and demanded cash.
The green 1998 Honda Civic, registration #182 625 which was reported stolen on Saturday, 17 February (see below), was recovered in Prospect. In addition, two other stolen Honda Civics

Shortly before 8:30PM on Monday, 26 February, a report was received of a stolen vehicle which was taken from Hickory Drive in George Town. The vehicle, a green 1999 Honda Civic, registration #154 629, was last seen being driven away by an unknown person.
Just before midnight on Saturday 23 February, police responded to a disturbance report outside of Kelly’s Bar on Birch Tree Hill Road, West Bay, where a 22-year-old-woman of West Bay, was shouting expletives and fighting.
A 25-year-old-man of George Town has been formally charged for the offenses of Assault ABH and Wrongful Confinement in accordance with the Penal Code (2013 Revision).
This is a reminder that the RCIPS is holding a community meeting in Bodden Town tomorrow evening. The meeting will be held from 6-8PM at the Bodden Town Civic Centre, next to the Bodden Town Police Station. Representatives from partner agencies have been invited and will also be present at this event.
The victim in the below incident has been transferred to the Health City medical facility for further treatment. His condition has improved however his injuries remain serious but now appear to be non-life-threatening.
