This was the second medevac from Little Cayman within 48 hours, as the Air Operations Unit also transferred another woman around 5:45PM Tuesday, 27 November, who had been diving and appeared to have decompression issues.
A man was pronounced dead on Wednesday, 28 November, after having lost consciousness while out on a snorkel trip in the North Sound and subsequently transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital. He was an 80-year-old visitor from the US.
The public is advised that there will be a funeral procession on Saturday, 1 December, starting from Elmslie Memorial United Church on Harbour Drive and travelling via South Sound Road and Shamrock Road to the Spotts Cemetery. The procession is expected to take place between 3:45PM and 4:30PM.
Today, 28 November, the RCIPS launches the mobile application of the police website for both Android and iPhone.
Just before 11AM, yesterday 27 November, police had cause to enter a residence on Brushy Avenue, George Town, to conduct a search under the Misuse of Drugs Law. During the search officers recovered a quantity of ganja as well as utensils and a sum of cash.

The 26-year-old man of Bodden Town, who was arrested in relation to a serious incident in Bodden Town involving a child, has been formally charged with Attempted Murder and Cruelty to a Child. He is appearing in court this morning, 26 November.
Shortly after 12:00AM on Monday, 26 November, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the vicinity of Birch Tree Hill Road, West Bay.
