RCIPS and CICG Intercept Drug Vessel, Men Charged, 26 September

26th September, 2020

On Friday, 25 September, three men were charged with Importation of Ganja and Illegal Landing. One was also charged with Contravention of a Deportation Order. This follows an incident on Thursday, 24 September, where a vessel carrying drugs was interdicted by the RCIPS and CICG.

Partial Closure of Crewe Road for Airport Barrier Testing, 26 September

A portion of Crewe Road, west of the Owen Roberts International Airport runway, will be closed for a brief period of time on Saturday, 26 September. The closure will take place for about 30 minutes, sometime between 12:00PM and 1:00PM, on the portion of Crewe Road between the roundabouts at Smith Road and Printer Way.

Just after 9:25AM today, Monday 21 September, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a report of a motor vehicle collision between a silver Honda Accord sedan and a white Cement Mixer Truck.
