The RCIPS has noticed an increase in the number of collisions over the past week, and it appears that the vast majority of these collisions occurred due to speeding and persons driving under the influence of alcohol.
Three men have been charged in relation to a burglary incident that took place at the Royal Bank of Canada, Shedden Road Branch, on 23 June, 2016
On Friday, 25 September, three men were charged with Importation of Ganja and Illegal Landing. One was also charged with Contravention of a Deportation Order. This follows an incident on Thursday, 24 September, where a vessel carrying drugs was interdicted by the RCIPS and CICG.
A portion of Crewe Road, west of the Owen Roberts International Airport runway, will be closed for a brief period of time on Saturday, 26 September. The closure will take place for about 30 minutes, sometime between 12:00PM and 1:00PM, on the portion of Crewe Road between the roundabouts at Smith Road and Printer Way.
