The Cayman Islands Hash House Harriers are hosting their annual Cross Island Relay on Sunday, 2 February from 6:00AM to 11:00AM. South Church Street will be closed between Thompson Drive and Antoinette Avenue during these times to facilitate the end point of the race.

Just after 6PM today police in Little Cayman were informed of a sinkhole that formed in the roadway along Guy Banks Road. The sinkhole will interrupt the regular flow of traffice and the area has been marked to inform road users of its location.

Sinkhole in the Roadway of Watercourse Road in West bay, 30 January

Just before 2:30PM today, 30 January, police responded to a report of a sinkhole that appeared on Watercourse Road, between Eureka Drive and Hamlet Lane in West Bay. The sinkhole is along the roadway and officers on scene have marked out the area for motorist to be aware of it.

Just after 8:20PM last night, 28 January, police responded to the Liberty's Restaurant located on Reverent Blackman Road in West Bay, where it was reported that three unknown males wearing masks, entered the establishment and stole a cash register containing a quantity of cash.

Update: Man Charged for Wounding at George Town Bar, 28 January

Just after 1:20AM on Saturday 16 November, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Centre to a bar on Doctor Roy’s Drive, George Town, where it was reported that a fight was in progress and one man was injured. A man has now been charged with Wounding in relation to the incident.
