Update:

The southbound lanes of the Esterley Tibbetts Highway have now been reopened.

Police are currently on scene of a motor vehicle collision involving a boat that was being trailered by one of the vehicles.  The incident took place on the Esterly Tibbetts Highway in the vicinity of the Yacht Drive roundabout.

No injuries were reported as a result of this collision.  

The boat that was being trailered has overturn in the roadway causing the southbound lane into George Town from West Bay to be closed. 

Efforts to clear the roadway is being taken at this time. An advisory notice will notify the public as soon as the roadway has been opened for use.
