Police responded to a bar in Bodden Town just after midnight, where it was reported that a serious assault had taken place.

A serious motor vehicle collision occurred on Shamrock Road, in the vicinity of Poindexter Road. The collision involved a Department of Environmental Health Garbage Truck and a white Suzuki Swift compact car.

As New Year’s Eve approaches, the RCIPS would like to remind the public that Operation Winter Guardian continues and the public can expect to see amplified police presence over the holiday weekend. Officers will be carrying out high visibility patrols at events and areas with large gatherings.

The two men, age 20 of Bodden Town and North Side, who were arrested in relation to the recovery of a loaded firearm in a vehicle, have been formally charged with Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm, Possession of an Unlicensed Firearm (Ammunition), and Possession of Ganja.

Jaeda Ebanks, who was reported missing on Friday, 23 December, has returned home and appears to be in good health.

Shortly after 11:50PM yesterday, 22 December, officers responded to a report of a robbery at a bar on West End East Road in Cayman Brac. It was reported that a masked man had entered the bar carrying a machete. The man took a quantity of cash from the register, along with cigarettes and personal items, and then then fled on foot

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of consumption and possession of ganja following a vehicle stop.

A man, age 61 of West Bay, was formally charged with Burglary and appeared in court on Monday, 19 December, in relation to a burglary at a restaurant on Sea View Road, East End.

The RCIPS is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 33-year-old Marcus Steve Manderson.

Police are seeking two men involved in a firearm incident, who fled from officers after the vehicle they were travelling in was involved in a collision.
