Man Arrested on Suspicion of Murder and Other Offenses in Relation to Martin Drive Shooting, 28 October

A man, age 29 of West Bay, has been arrested on suspicion of two counts of murder and possession of an unlicensed firearm. The arrest is in relation to the shooting which took place on Martin Drive on 1 July. He remains in custody as investigations continue.

A Tribute to the Late William Hortor Rankine – Former Inspector of Police

On Sunday 17 October, the RCIPS participated in the funeral service of the late former Inspector of Police Mr. William Hortor Rankine, who passed away on Monday 11 October. Mr. William Hortor Rankine served with the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service for 26 years, from 1970 to 1996.
