Police are aware of a video circulating online showing persons involved in what appears to be a physical altercation.

On Sunday, 26 July, shortly after 5:00PM, police and emergency services responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision involving a silver BMW on Shamrock Road in George Town.

Shortly before 11:30AM on Monday, 27 July, police and other emergency services responded to a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a Honda Stream on Creek Road in Cayman Brac.

Following an individual & detailed search of the suspicious packages recovered on a vessel, intercepted by the Cayman Islands Coast Guard and RCIPS’ Air Operations Unit

The Police are investigating an ongoing SMS phishing scam involving suspects purporting to be from several public and private institutions, as well a new wave of the Post Office Parcel SMS Scam.

Shortly after 1:30 AM on Wednesday, 22 July, police responded to a report of an attempted burglary at a residence in North Side.

The RCIPS has noted an increase in reports of the suspected phishing scam involving suspects making video calls and claiming to be law enforcement.

A man has been charged with one count of Wounding and one count of Wounding with Intent, after officers were dispatched to a report of an assault incident at an address in West Bay where two men known to each other had been involved in a physical altercation, potentially involving a knife.

Police are investigating a serious single-vehicle collision that occurred shortly after midnight on Sunday, 19 July, along Bodden Town Road.

On Friday afternoon, 17 July, police responded to a report of a woman found unresponsive at an address off Batabano Road in West Bay. Emergency services attended the location and the woman was subsequently pronounced deceased by the attending doctor. The matter is currently under investigation.
