Police Investigate Single Vehicle Collision on Esterley Tibbetts Highway, 3 August

Shortly after 9:00PM on Saturday, 1 August, officers on patrol along the Esterley Tibbetts Highway came upon a single-vehicle collision in the vicinity of Lakeside Condos. The driver was treated for what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries, and subsequently discharged. The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

Her Excellency the Governor Announces Appointment of new Deputy Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner of the RCIPS, 3 August

Her Excellency the Governor has announced the appointment of Mr. Robert Atkin MBE as the new Deputy Commissioner of Police of the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS). Mr. Brad Ebanks has been appointed as Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police. Both officers took up their new positions on 1 August.
