The Cayman Islands Triathlon Association will be hosting the annual Cayman Islands Triathlon on Sunday, 3 November, beginning at 6:00AM. The event will begin at the Seven Mile Public Beach, with the run course travelling south along West Bay Road to Lime Tree Bay Avenue, travelling east on Lime Tree Bay to the Esterley Tibbetts Highway, before return returning to Seven Mile Public Beach via the same route. The bike course will travel along Esterley Tibbetts, between Lime Tree Bay Avenue and Batabano Road. The event is expected to conclude by 11:00AM.
In order to facilitate the event, traffic will be restricted on West Bay Road between Lime Tree Bay Avenue and the Seven Mile Beach roundabout, from 6:00AM to 11:00AM.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution when travelling in these areas on Sunday morning.
