Shortly before 5:00AM today, 2 October, officers responded to a report of a robbery at a store at the intersection of West Church Street and Town Hall Road, West Bay. It was reported that two masked men entered the store, one carrying a machete, and demanded cash from the worker there.
Just before 4:00AM, this morning, Saturday 28 September, police received a report of an armed robbery at a commercial premises on Mount Pleasant Road, West Bay.
Police carryout day of action which resulted in several arrests following search warrants on Wednesday 18 September, 2024.

Shortly before 8:30AM on Saturday, 24 August, police received a report of a robbery which had taken place that same morning after 5:00AM. A woman was standing near the intersection of Neon Close and Mount Pleasant Road, West Bay, when she was approached by two men with their faces covered, who robbed her of personal belongings.
Two persons were arrested for drug offences on Monday, 5 August, when officers on patrol on Mary Mollie Hydes Road in West Bay observed them behaving suspiciously while seated in a vehicle which was partially obstructing the roadway.
RCIPS reminds the public that the National Gun Amnesty has been extended for a further 10 days and have provided an update on hand ins so far. The public encouraged to hand in illegal guns before the deadline.
As the RCIPS continues in its efforts to encourage persons to relinquish their unlicensed firearms, two more firearms were handed in this past weekend. A pistol and a rifle along with an amount of ammunition were handed into police via a trusted third party, as part of the 2024 RCIPS Gun Amnesty campaign.
