As such, police are again reminding the public how to keep your vehicle and possessions safe, and avoid being a target of vehicle-related crime.
Shortly before 8:15AM today, 3 August, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre dispatched officers and emergency services to a report that a man had been out swimming in the area when he experienced difficulties and lost consciousness. He was then transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital where he was subsequently pronounced dead.

Over the weekend, Friday 7 July – Sunday 9 July, police operations resulted in the arrest of four men believed to be involved in the recent spate of robberies and firearms offences that have occurred across Grand Cayman.
Police arrest man in relation to burglary incident. He has since been formally charged.
The man, aged 41 of George Town, who was arrested on Saturday 8 July, in relation to the fatal incident that occurred the same day, has been formally charged with murder.
Police responded to three robbery related incidents yesterday between 8.45PM – 9.30PM. On Thursday 6 July, shortly after 8:45PM officers responded to a report of an attempt robbery at a restaurant in the Birch Tree Hill area, West Bay.
