Recently the RCIPS has received a number of reports of vehicle registration plates being stolen. In at least one instance, stolen registration plates have been placed on other vehicles which have then been used during the commission of other offenses.

A 2021 orange Changan CS15, registration number #204 895, which was reported stolen yesterday, 11 November, was recovered today by the RCIPS and is being forensically processed for further investigation. The RCIPS wishes to thank the public for their assistance in the matter.

Jahsmine Ebanks has been located and returned home safely, and appears to be in good health. The RCIPS thanks the public for their assistance in this matter.

Wanted man Noel Paul Manning was arrested in Bodden Town this afternoon, 20 October, on suspicion of indecent assault. He remains in custody as investigations continue.

Police can now confirm the identity of the victim in the water-related death which occurred in West Bay on Friday, 14 October. She is 70-year-old Pamela Bartlett Wilson, a visitor from the United States.

Police can now confirm the identity of the victim in the sudden death which occurred in Bodden Town on Wednesday, 12 October. He is 44-year-old Prashant Dhanji Revar, an Indian national residing in Cayman.

Police and other emergency services were dispatched to a report of a single vehicle collision that occurred on Shamrock Road, Bodden Town where it was reported that there was an explosion and a car caught fire.

The public is being advised that the Bodden Town Police Station has now re-opened and our phone lines are functional and remain the same: 947-2220.

Due to flooding and debris on the roadway in the vicinity of the Red Bay Dock (dock located on South Sound), South Sound Road, between Crewe Road and the Red Bay Dock will be closed to the public at this time. The RCIPS is encouraging everyone to avoid traversing the roadways until an all clear has been given.
