Single Vehicle Collision in North Side, 7 September

7th September, 2023

Shortly after 1:15 AM today, 7 September, officers responded to a single-vehicle collision on Frank Sound Road involving a white Kia Optima. Three occupants of the vehicle, a man, a woman and an infant, were transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital to be treated for their injuries.

UPDATE: Police Identify Victim in Fatal Collision, 4 September

Police can now confirm the identity of the deceased in the fatal collision which took place on Wednesday night, 23 August.  He is 39-year-old Randre David Lescombe, a Jamaican national residing in the Cayman Islands.

The RCIPS is advising the public of the following road closure taking place to facilitate the LIVE Street Food Festival this Saturday, 19 August. Albert Panton Street and the eastern portion of Cardinall Avenue will be closed from 8:00PM on Friday, 18 August, through 12:00PM on Sunday, 20 August.

Police Investigate Serious Collision in George Town, 14 August

14th August, 2023

Shortly before 2:00AM this morning, 14 August, officers responded to a report of a single motor vehicle collision involving a black Chevrolet Trax on North Sound Road in the vicinity of the intersection with Shedden Road. The driver remains in hospital with what appear to be serious injuries and is in stable condition.

Police can now confirm the identity of the deceased in the fatal collision which occurred in Cayman Brac on Saturday morning, 15 July. He is 23-year-old Marlon Everton Findley of Cayman Brac. The RCIPS expresses condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
