Since the beginning of the year, the RCIPS has noted an increase in incidents of theft and burglary of construction tools and equipment. As such, the RCIPS is advising persons involved in construction work of precautions they can take against such thefts.

Police can now confirm the identity of the man who was pronounced deceased after experiencing difficulties in the water at Smith Cove on Saturday, 30 April. He is 75-year-old Eldon Leroy Nixon, of George Town.
