On Sunday, 28 January, officers arrested a man, age 27 of George Town, on suspicion of burglary in relation to an incident which had been reported earlier that day at a store on Hospital Road. The man is also believed to be connected to a number of other recent commercial burglaries in the George Town area.
Shortly after 2:00AM, Friday 26 January, police responded to a call to service at the George Town Hospital, where a man, with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to his stomach, had been brought via private vehicle.
UPDATE: A man, age 29 of George Town, has been formally charged with the murder of Sven Connor, in a shooting which occurred on 7 December, 2023. A murder charge for the incident has also been filed against a second man, age 33 of Bodden Town.

Shortly after 7:00AM yesterday, 18 January, the 9-1-1 Communications Centre dispatched officers to a report that a vessel carrying two men had landed on the shore off Bodden Town Road, in the Breakers area. Officers attended the location and detained the two men, who appeared to be in good health.

At about 6:15PM yesterday, 14 January, officers responded to a report of a wounding outside of a convenience store on Party Lane in George Town. It was reported that three men were involved in an altercation, and one of the men had been stabbed in the chest and back.
Just before 5:00PM, Saturday 13 January, police responded to a report of a robbery at a convenience store in the vicinity of Birch Tree Hill Road, West Bay.
Shortly after 1:30AM, Wednesday 10 January, police responded to a report of a shot fired through a window at a residential address in the vicinity of Lower Valley, Bodden Town.
