RCIPS Service Vehicle Involved in Collision in George Town, 5 February

5th February, 2021

Just before 12:00PM on Friday, 5 February, an RCIPS service vehicle was involved in a two-vehicle collision with a Chevrolet Aveo at the roundabout at Anthony Drive and Smith Road. Both vehicles received minor damage, and no injuries were reported.

Just after 1PM today, 4 February, police officers on mobile patrol on Godfrey Nixon Way in George Town observed a stolen vehicle exiting a gas station in the area. The unit attempted to stop the vehicle, however were unable to do so.

Just before 12:50PM today 3 February, 2 RCIPS service vehicles were travelling along West Bay Road in the vicinity of the Four-Way-Stop in West Bay, responding to a report when a collision occurred involving both units and a third private vehicle.

Two Vehicle Collision on Shamrock Road, 1 February

1st February, 2021

Shortly before 7:00PM on Saturday, 30 January, officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving an SUV and a motorcycle on Shamrock Road in the vicinity of Whistling Way. The rider of the motorcycle was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital for treatment for serious injuries, and remains in hospital.
