At around 3:30PM, Wednesday 10 January, a 28-year-old man from Cayman Brac was arrested in Grand Cayman in relation to the hit and run incident that occurred in the Brac on 26 December 2023.

On 1 November, with further assistance from the public, officers in Cayman Brac located a man suspected of having stolen the vehicle. The man, age 31 of Cayman Brac, was arrested on suspicion of taking a conveyance without authority.
