REMINDER: Road Closures for Queen’s Birthday Celebrations, 14 June

Her Majesty the Queen’s Birthday will be celebrated on Monday, 14 June. The occasion will be marked by a ceremonial parade at 4:30PM outside the Governor’s Residence. The RCIPS is advising the public of the following road closures and traffic diversions in order to facilitate the Queen’s Birthday parade.

Collision Involving Two Vessels, 1 June

Just before 9:40PM on Monday, 31 May, officers from the RCIPS, Cayman Islands Coast Guard, Cayman Islands Fire Service, the RCIPS Air Operations Unit and EMS responded to a report of a collision involving a fishing vessel and a sailboat in the Governor’s Harbour area off Magellan Quay, West Bay.

Man Arrested Following Incident on Olympic Way, 28 April

On Tuesday, 27 April, officers responded to a report of a disturbance at the D. Dalmain Ebanks Boxing Gym on Olympic Way. A man at the location was subsequently arrested on suspicion of causing fear or provocation of violence, damage to property, and for resisting arrest.
