Police Investigate Wounding Incident in Bodden Town, 11 October

11th October, 2021

Shortly before 4:40PM on Friday, 8 October, officers responded to a report of a wounding at a business plaza on Bodden Town Road, east of Lake Destiny Drive. It was reported that at least two men were involved in an altercation which became physical, and one of the men stabbed another multiple times.

RCIPS Advises the Public of Increase in Theft of Construction & Maintenance Equipment, 8 October

Since early July, there has been an increase in reports of thefts from construction sites and from vehicles involved in construction, and maintenance work. As such, the RCIPS is advising persons involved in these businesses of precautions they can take against such thefts.

Man Charged with Two Counts of Burglary, 17 September

A man, age 60 of West Bay, has been arrested and formally charged with two counts of Burglary. The charges relate to incidents on 6 August and 16 August, 2021, where two separate business in George Town were broken into and items stolen.

Police Investigate Commercial Burglaries on West Bay Road, 27 August

Police are investigating two commercial burglaries which occurred at business on West Bay Road on Thursday morning, 27 August, and have released a CCTV image of the suspects. Both burglaries appear to have been committed by the same persons.
