Police Recover Large Quantity of Cocaine Following Search, 11 February

On Wednesday, 9 February, at about 9:30AM, officers from various units in the RCIPS conducted a search of an address in George Town, under the Misuse of Drugs Law. During the search, officers recovered a large quantity of suspected cocaine, along with drug paraphernalia and a large sum of cash.

Police Carry Out Joint Operation in West Bay, 19 January

A man age 24 of Bodden Town has been formally charged with Attempted Robbery and Possession of a Controlled Drug, in relation to an incident on Sunday, 2 January, and a quantity of drugs found in his possession at the time of his arrest.

Yesterday, Thursday 9 December, Freddy Manuel Diaz of West Bay was convicted of Possession of Indecent Images of Children and Accessing Child Pornography. Diaz will be sentenced on 18 February 2022.

This morning, the RCIPS was informed about a disturbing video depicting sexual abuse that has been circulating on messaging service, Whatsapp, recently. The RCIPS requests that anyone that has received video content of this nature to immediately stop sharing the content and delete it from their phones.
