Shortly after 9:30PM yesterday, 8 April, officers responded to a report of a robbery at a liquor store on Bodden Town Road, just east of Monument Road.

At 10:55AM yesterday, Thursday 31 March, police were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a report of a robbery that took place at a business establishment on Roberts Drive in George Town.

Police are investigating two armed robberies which occurred on Eastern Avenue, early this morning, 29 March.

Tonight, Friday 18th March, detectives along with uniform officers, will be attending the Strand Complex on West Bay Road in search of witnesses to the shooting incident that took place last Saturday morning, 12 March, just after 3AM. 

At about 11:00AM on Tuesday, 4 January, RCIPS officers conducting checks in the Barkers area of West Bay discovered a container with multiple cartridges of what appears to be shotgun ammunition.

Shortly after midnight this morning, 28 December, police responded to a report of a male in possession of a firearm in the vicinity of 211 Shedden Road.

A man has been arrested following a report of a robbery on the premises of a restaurant on Sound Way, in George Town, on Thursday, 23 December.

Just after 3PM on Sunday 12 December, police responded to the Lakeside Villas off Esterly Tibbetts Highway, where it was reported that a disturbance involving a machete was taking place between a man and a woman in the car park area of the complex.

RCIPS’ holiday safety operation, Winter Guardian, commences today, 1 December, and will see increased community foot patrols and intensified road enforcement operations, supported by road safety education and awareness campaigns. The operation continues throughout the holiday season and into the New Year.

The wanted man, age 44 of George Town, who fled from officers on Thursday, 18 November, has been arrested and charged on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and threats to kill, in relation to the incident, along with other traffic offenses.
