For a better experience on RCIPS, UPDATE YOUR BROWSER. Shortly before 7:00PM on Tuesday, 15 December, officers responded to a report of a wounding at an address on North West Point Road in West Bay. Officers arrested a man, age 36 of West Bay, on suspicion of Wounding in relation to the incident. He remains in custody as investigations continue.
Just after 12AM today, Sunday 6 December, police were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a report of shots being fired in the vicinity of a bar located along Seymour's Rd, George Town. A man has since been formally charged in connection with the incident.
Today, 4 December, the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) is delighted to announce that it has received a donation of 22 AED (Automated External Defibrillators) battery packs and 20 CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Kits from the Cayman Heart Fund.
RCIPS’ holiday safety operations commence tomorrow, 4 December, with measures to amplify visible patrols and community support, along with increased road safety education and awareness campaigns supported by intensified road enforcement operations.
On 9 November, officers recovered twenty-five (25) packages that were believed to have washed ashore in the Guy Banks Road area of Little Cayman. The packages that were recovered from the location were subsequently inspected and were found to have contained white powdery substances resembling cocaine.
Just before 7:45PM yesterday Monday 16 November, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a report of a disturbance at a laundry mat located on Kennedy Drive in George Town.
UPDATE: The man, age 43 of Bodden Town, who was arrested in relation to a report of indecent assault at an address in Bodden Town on Wednesday, 11 November, has been formally charged with Indecent Assault on a Female.
A man, age 39 of George Town, has been formally charged with seven counts of Indecent Assault on a Female, in relation to a series of incidents taking place between 2015 and 2020 where it is reported that he indecently assaulted a juvenile female.
A man, age 23 of George Town, has been formally charged with eight offenses in relation to several incidents occurring between 24 October and 4 November.
A man, age 35 of George Town, has been formally charged with Arson, in relation to the fire which occurred at the RCIPS Business Centre at Windjammer Plaza on Monday, 26 October.
