Shortly after 9:00AM on Thursday, 5 November, officers responded to a report of a Burglary at a church on Hirst Road, Bodden Town. The church had been broken into and sound equipment stolen, sometime between the evening of Saturday, 31 October, and Thursday morning.

Shortly before 7:30AM yesterday, 5 November, officers responded to a report of multiple burglaries at a shopping plaza on North Sound Road, near the Butterfield Roundabout. Four businesses at the location had been broken into overnight and cash stolen from registers.

Police Investigate Attempted Robbery in George Town, 4 November

Just after 10:15PM yesterday, 3 November, police were dispatched to a medical facility located off Smith Road, near Maple Road, where it was reported that two males tried to rob a man while he was leaving the location.

Woman Charged with Assault GBH with Intent, 4 November

4th November, 2020

A 35-year-old-woman of George Town has been charged with Assault GBH with intent following an incident that took place on Sunday, 1 November, where it was reported that she stabbed a man known to her at a residence in George Town. The man sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and remains in hospital.

Police Investigate Fire at RCIPS Business Centre in George Town, 29 October

At about 8:40PM Monday, 26 October, officers responded to a report of a fire at the RCIPS Business Center located at Windjammer Plaza on Walkers Road. The Cayman Islands Fire Service attended the location and extinguished the fire. No one was injured in the incident.

Robbery in George Town, 26 October

26th October, 2020

Shortly before 3:00PM on Sunday, 25 October, officers responded to a report of a robbery on Eastern Avenue, in the vicinity of Watlers Drive. A man was approached by two other men, one of whom brandished a machete and demanded cash. The men robbed the victim of cash, then fled on foot in the direction of Watlers Drive.

Shortly after 8:30PM yesterday, 23 October, officers responded to a report of an altercation involving multiple persons at a bar on Seymour Drive. Four persons who were injured as a result of the altercation attended the Cayman Islands Hospital.
