Water-Related Death, 20 April

Shortly after 3:15PM on Friday, 15 April, officers responded to a report of a person in distress at an address on West Bay Road, across from Earth Close. A man had been in the water snorkeling when he lost consciousness. He was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital via ambulance where he was subsequently pronounced dead.

A man, age 30 of George Town, has been arrested on suspicion of robbery, in relation to the several recent robbery incidents; and on suspicion of aggravated burglary, in relation to a historic burglary; following a police operation in the vicinity of Boilers Road, George Town.

Police Investigate Stolen Vehicles, Including Boats and Trailer, 7 April

Police are investigating reports of two stolen boats and a report of a stolen boat trailer, received over the past two weeks along with other vehicles which have been reported stolen since the beginning of the year.

Man Found Unresponsive in George Town, 7 December

7th December, 2021

At about 6:40AM today, 7 December, police responded to a report of a man found unresponsive at an address on Omega Drive in George Town. Emergency Services attended the location and the man was subsequently pronounced dead. The matter is under investigation, however the death is not believed to be suspicious at this time.

Five Persons Arrested Following West Bay Operation, 6 December

On Friday morning, 3 December, RCIPS officers in West Bay conducted searches at two addresses in the vicinity of West Church Street, under the Misuse of Drugs Act. As a result, four persons were arrested on suspicion of drug and illegal gambling offenses, while a fifth person was arrested in relation to a prior incident.
