Police Investigate Serious Single-Vehicle Collision on Shamrock Road, 4 October

Shortly before 2:00AM today, 4 October, officers responded to a serious single-vehicle collision on Shamrock Road, in the vicinity of Impulse Close, involving a red Honda Integra. The lone occupant was extracted from the vehicle and transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital, where she remains in critical condition.

Traffic Lights at Bobby Thompson Way/Smith Road Operational, 30 September

This evening, 30 September, the NRA was able to conduct repairs on the control unit for the traffic lights at the Bobby Thompson Way and Smith Road junction. As such, the lights are now currently operational, however, it is possible that the repair will only function temporarily.

Public Advisory: RCIPS Informs the Public of Road Closures Along Seafarer’s Way, 26 September

Due to wave activity and debris on the roadway, Seafarers Way, between Goring Avenue and Elmslie Memorial Church has been closed, with vehicles being diverted through Goring Avenue at this time. The roadway is also closed between Mary Street and Lobster Pot on North Church Street.
