Shortly after 1:00PM today, 21 September, officers responded to a report of an incident on Valencia Drive in Bodden Town. A man had been injured after a vehicle collapsed on him and was found unresponsive. Police and emergency services attended the scene and the man was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Just after 9 PM on Friday, 13 September, police were informed of a shooting incident that took place in the vicinity of Sound Way, George Town.
Shortly after 11:00PM on Sunday, 15 September, officers responded to a report of shots fired at an address off Selkirk Drive, George Town, where an unknown person had fired a shot at the house. No one was injured in the incident and the matter is currently under police investigation.
Police can now confirm the identity of the woman who was found unresponsive at an address off Owen Roberts Drive on Monday, 9 September. She is 51-year-old Sheron Andrea Clarke-Smith, a Caymanian status-holder originally from Jamaica.
