Just after 8:30AM yesterday, 20 February, police had cause to stop a blue Honda Civic that was travelling along Eastern Avenue in George Town. Using emergency lights and sirens, the officers attempted to stop the vehicle, however the driver of the vehicle failed to stop for the police.
On Friday, 14 February, RCIPS officers, with the assistance of officers from the Department of Agriculture, conducted searches at three locations in the district of West Bay, under the Misuse of Drugs Law. As a result, three persons were arrested on suspicion of drug offenses, and a quantity of cash seized.
A man, age 35 of West Bay, has been charged with two counts of Stalking in relation to a series of incidents. He appeared in court yesterday, 12 February, and was granted court bail with conditions in advance of his next appearance.
