Early on Monday, 21 May, officers responded to a report of a robbery on Prospect Point Road.

A woman was pronounced dead on Thursday, 10 May, after encountering difficulties while snorkeling off South Church Street, George Town. The woman, age 64, was a visitor from the US.

Yesterday morning, 10 May, officers responded to three reports of vehicle break-ins that occurred overnight in the Prospect area.

A man, age 19 of George Town, has been arrested and charged with Burglary in relation to a burglary at a business on Sound Way in George Town, on 4 October, 2017. He is appearing in court this morning, 30 April.

On Friday, 20 April, the RCIPS Senior Command Team hosted a press conference to announce the release of the 2017 Crime and Traffic Statistics.

A juvenile male, age 16 of George Town, was arrested on 20 April, and formally charged with Burglary, in relation to an incident at a business in Grand Harbour, George Town, on the morning of 14 February. He appeared in court on Monday, 23 April.

Yesterday, 24 April, officers received a report of a robbery which had taken place on Sunday, 22 April. A woman reported that she had been walking along South Sound Road at about 11:45PM when she was approached and grabbed by a man who demanded her handbag.

A man, age 26 of George Town, was arrested on Friday, 20 April, on suspicion of dangerous driving and committing a reckless and negligent act. The arrest is in relation to the reckless riding which took place during the illegal motorbike event, named “Ride of the Century,” on Sunday, 26 November, 2017

The man, age 21 of George Town, who was arrested on Wednesday, 18 April (see below), has been formally charged with Burglary. He is appearing in court this morning, 20 April.

A man, age 32 of George Town, has been charged with two counts of Arson in relation to an incident where two vehicles were set on fire at a residence on Palm Dale Avenue, George Town, on the morning of Tuesday, 12 September, 2017.
