Officers responded to reports of four vehicle break-ins yesterday morning, 17 September, all in the Fairbanks area of George Town. These incidents are currently under police investigation, and police are reminding the public to ensure that valuables are not left inside vehicles, especially overnight.
Three vehicles, including two passenger buses, were broken into Monday night, 10 September, in George Town (Beats 6 and 8).
On Friday, 31 August, former RCIPS constable (PC 145) Mr. Melvin Augustine passed away at age 71, following a multi-year battle with illness.
The grey 1995 Honda Integra, registration #101 932, which was reported stolen on Friday, 24 August, has been recovered by officers in George Town.
The RCIPS would like to inform the community of a trend where churches have become targets of burglaries in recent weeks. There have been 8 such reports received in the last two months, including two reported yesterday morning.

The three males who were arrested following a coordinated effort on 19 July, in response to a report of a burglary-in-progress in South Sound, have now been formally charged with Burglay.
Yesterday, Tuesday 17 July, police responded to seven (7) reports of vehicles that were broken into in the district of West Bay, of these reports, it appears that property was only stolen in one (1) of the incidents.
