Not only is this a violation of the Traffic Laws and Regulations, but it is a danger to your child life in the event that your vehicle is involved in a collision.
At about 1:50AM on Saturday morning, 24 August, police were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Center, in response to a report of a large group of persons fighting at Caribbean Plaza on West Bay Rd.
Just after 3:15PM on Wednesday 21 August, police were alerted to a report of a vehicle driving in a dangerous manner on Shamrock Road in the vicinity of Country Side.
On Thursday, 15 August, an RCIPS “Day of Action” took place across Grand Cayman, with a large number of officers carrying out operations simultaneously throughout the day and night. Approximately 74 officers participated.
The man, age 20 of Bodden Town, who was arrested following an incident near the Bodden Town Police Station on Wednesday, 14 August, has now been formally charged with Assault ABH and Assaulting a Police Officer. He appears in court today, 16 August.
Yesterday, 13 August, a man, age 30 of Bodden Town, was arrested on suspicion of assault GBH and damage to property following an incident on 5 July, in the Belford Estates area of Bodden Town.
The Miss Cayman Universe Motorcade will be taking place on Saturday, 10 August, beginning at 8:00AM at the Royal Watler Cruise Terminal.
Just before 3:25PM, police and other emergency were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Centre to a location on Bodden Town Road, in vicinity of Lakeview Road, where it was reported that a pedestrian was stuck by a car, and received injuries.
Just before 1:45AM today, 29 July, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Centre to a report that two men had been engaged in a dispute at Vic’s Bar located off North Sound Road, which led to one of the men being seriously injured.
This past Friday, 19 July, RCIPS officers joined with staff from the Department of Commerce and Investment and the Cayman Islands Fire Service to conduct checks of liquor-licensed premises in George Town.
