On Thursday, 15 August, an RCIPS “Day of Action” took place across Grand Cayman, with a large number of officers carrying out operations simultaneously throughout the day and night. Approximately 74 officers participated.
The man, age 20 of Bodden Town, who was arrested following an incident near the Bodden Town Police Station on Wednesday, 14 August, has now been formally charged with Assault ABH and Assaulting a Police Officer. He appears in court today, 16 August.
Yesterday, 13 August, a man, age 30 of Bodden Town, was arrested on suspicion of assault GBH and damage to property following an incident on 5 July, in the Belford Estates area of Bodden Town.

This past Friday, 19 July, RCIPS officers joined with staff from the Department of Commerce and Investment and the Cayman Islands Fire Service to conduct checks of liquor-licensed premises in George Town.
On Friday 8 February, police and animal welfare and control officers from the Department of Agriculture (DoA) conducted an operation at an address on Brushwood Way in Bodden Town. One man was arrested and has been formally charged with Cruelty to Animals and Dealing in a Restricted Pharmaceutical.
On Saturday, 20 July, officers responded to a robbery report, making an arrest and recovering the stolen property. The man arrested has been charged with Robbery.
