Today, 24 May, officers responded to a report of an assault on Olympic Way in George Town. A suspect was located and followed onto the John Gray High School campus and a search was conducted. He was later located and arrested at an address on Walkers Road.
Shortly before 5:00PM yesterday, 15 May, officers responded to a report of a sudden death at the Cayman Islands Hospital. A man had been snorkeling south of Governor’s Beach, when he encountered difficulties and was brought to shore. He was later transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital and pronounced dead.

On Saturday, 11 May, officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle, a 1998 Grey Honda Accord, registration #123 125. It was last seen parked at an address on Woodlake Drive in George Town at about 8:00PM on Friday, 10 May, and discovered stolen at about 4:00AM on Saturday, 11 May.
A man and woman of George Town have been arrested and bailed following an incident where officers observed the woman riding a motorcycle without insurance or a license.
Just after 3PM today, 10 May, police officers had cause to stop a vehicle travelling along South Sound Road and made attempts to stop the vehicle using lights and sirens. The vehicle failed to stop and was followed by the officers.
Just before 1PM today a 30-year-old-man from Bodden Town and a 29-year-old-woman also from Bodden Town, were arrested after officers made attempts to stop a vehicle being driven by the man in West Bay.
Just before 10:15PM, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Unit to a location on Shedden Road, where it was reported that a man was hit by a white colored Honda 2 door car and received injuries.
Police are requesting public assistance in locating a stolen 1998 Black Honda Accord, registration #170 275. It was last seen parked at the rear of Cayman Falls on West Bay Road at about 4:30PM, and discovered stolen at about 11:00PM.
