Yesterday, Friday 27 November, at approximately 7:15PM, officers were informed that the pedestrian involved in the collision that took place on Thursday 26 November, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead by the attending doctor at the hospital.

Just after 6PM yesterday 23 November, police and other emergency services were dispatched to the 9-1-1 Communications Centre to a report of two vehicle collision that took place at the junction of Bobby Thompson Way and Smith Road.
The RCIPS Traffic & Roads Policing Unit is appealing for witnesses to the single vehicle collision which occurred on West Bay Road in the vicinity of Genevieve Bodden Drive, on Sunday morning, 1 November, which remains under investigation.
Shortly before 8:00PM on Saturday, 14 November, officers in Cayman Brac responded to a report of a collision on West End East Road, involving a Ford F150 and a pedal cyclist. The cyclist was transported to Faith Hospital by ambulance, and was later transported by air to the Cayman Islands Hospital, for treatment.
A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and other traffic offenses on Tuesday, 3 November, after he was observed by officers, driving in the wrong lane, on Bodden Town Road. Police are reminding the public of the dangers of drinking and driving, and the penalties for doing so.
The RCIPS can now confirm the identity of the victim in the fatal collision which took place on Saturday, 7 November, on Powell Smith Road, West Bay. The rider of the motorcycle which was involved in the collision has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and other traffic offenses.
Just before 12:15AM today, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a report of a single vehicle collision along Seaview Road, In East End. The collision involved a green Honda Civic and as a result of the collision a light pole, along with power lines fell into the street.
