It was reported that a masked man entered the shop brandishing machete, and took a bag containing personal items and cash from a person at the location.

Shortly after 6:15 AM today, 24 October, officers responded to a report of a robbery in the vicinity of Smith’s Barcadere in George Town. It was reported that a man was at the location, when he was approached by another man unknown to him, who brandished a knife, demanded his property, and made threats.
