Shortly after 2:00AM today, 7 March, officers responded to a fatal collision involving a motorcycle and a Mercedes SUV on Shedden Road, in the vicinity of Vibert Bodden Drive. The rider of the motorcyle was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital and later pronounced dead.
Shortly after 10:20AM on 4 March, officers responded to a report of a two vehicle collision on Shedden Road, in the vicinity of Printer Way, involving a Public Bus and a Hyundai i10. All 12 passengers of the bus, and the drivers of both vehicles, were transported to the CI Hospital for treatment for minor injuries and released.
Just after 4AM on Tuesday, 25 February, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to Sea View Road in East End, where it was reported that a white Ford Ranger pickup truck and an injured man had been observed in the bushes in the High Rock area.
On Sunday, 8 March, Courts Road in George Town will be briefly closed to facilitate a Uniform Group foot parade hosted by the Royal Commonwealth Society, which will proceed from the parking lot of the former Cox Lumber building to St. George’s Anglican Church. The Road will be closed between 4:00PM and 4:15PM.
A portion of Crewe Road, west of the Owen Roberts International Airport runway, will be closed overnight for the next five nights, from 2 to 6 March, between 10:00PM and 4:00AM. During these times, Crewe Road will be closed between the roundabouts at Smith Road and Printer Way.
Shortly before 4:00PM on Monday, 17 February, officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision on Bodden Town Road. The driver of the vehicle was transported to the Cayman Islands hospital, and subsequently transferred to Health City Cayman Islands.
On Thursday, 20 February, from 9:00AM to 12:00PM, officers from the Traffic & Roads Policing Unit will be conducting investigative work at the intersection of Shamrock Road and Mimosa Lane, in relation to the fatal collision which took place on 25 November, 2019. During this time, traffic flow will be restricted to one lane.

Shortly before 10:00PM on Sunday, 9 February, officers responded to a report of a three-vehicle collision on Shamrock Road in the vicinity of the Savannah Rubis service station. Occupants of all three vehicles sustained injuries and were treated at hospital. One man was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident.
