On Monday night, 2 May, officers received a report of an attempted rape at an address off Tropical Gardens Road, George Town. Early the following morning, Tuesday, 3 May, officers arrested a man, age 40 of George Town, in relation to the incident. He has since been formally charged with Attempted Rape, and appears in court today
At about 10:45PM on Tuesday, 3 May, officers responded to a report that two persons had been struck by a vehicle at an address on Hillside Court, Bodden Town. Following inquiries, police later arrested a male, age 17 of North Side, in relation to the incident. He has since been granted bail.
Three women, ages 19, 51, and 37 of George Town, arrested on suspicion of illegal gambling on Shedden Road in George Town.
Three men who were arrested late last week in relation to burglary and criminal trespass have now been formally charged. Two of the men are also the subjects of several additional matters which remain under investigation. All three men appear in court today, 2 May.
The RCIPS is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 23-year-old Justin Kyle Jackson, who was last known to be living in the West Bay area, in relation to last night’s police pursuit.
A man, age 25 of George Town, has been arrested in relation to the murder which took place on Monday 25 April at a commercial premises on School Road in George Town. The man had previously been wanted by police in relation to a number of other matters, including domestic and traffic matters.
As part of the RCIPS’ ongoing investigations into recent violent crime, including armed robberies and murder, two of the main suspects in the investigation have been arrested this afternoon, 28 April, following a high speed pursuit and interception by the Firearms Response Unit in North Side.
A man has ben arrested following a burglary incident which took place in West Bay on Monday, 26 April.
A man was arrested following a report of sexual assault in East End. The matter is under investigation.
