Two Men Arrested Following Interception of Drug Vessel, 13 January

Just before 1AM yesterday, 12 January, officers of the Cayman Islands Coast Guard (CICG) were conducting border patrols when they had cause to stop a local vessel in Cayman Islands territorial waters. A quantity of ganja was recovered and two men arrested.

Police Recover Large Quantity of Drugs in Beach Bay, Bodden Town, 11 January

During the early morning hours of Saturday, 8 January, 2022, the Air Operations Unit, while conducting coastline patrol in the Beach Bay area of the Bodden Town District, spotted suspicious activity. Officers responded and during the search of the area two vehicles were recovered containing a large quantity of ganja.
