Shortly after 2:30PM yesterday, 2 January, officers responded to a report that a man had taken a tip jar from a restaurant on Boggy Sand Road and walked off, in the company of a woman. A worker at the restaurant followed the man and confronted him. The man brandished a machete and made off on foot.
Shortly before 2:10PM on Friday, 22 December, officers responded to a report of a water-related death.

Shortly before 1:30PM on Wednesday, 20 September, officers responded to a report of an incident at the Seven Mile Public Beach on West Bay Road. It was reported that a man had brandished a knife at another man and made threats against him.
A man, age 52 of West Bay, was arrested and charged with seven offenses related to multiple incidents.
The Office of the Commissioner of Police (OCP) is again pleased this summer to welcome, under the leadership of Samantha Tate Thompson, Human Resources Officer, a group of interns. This annual opportunity allows the interns to gain work experience and awareness of the RCIPS and the CICG operations.
Shortly after 10:00AM on Thursday, 13 July, officers responded to a report of a person in distress on the shore in the vicinity of Boggy Sands Road, West Bay. A woman was taken to shore after experiencing difficulty in the water and losing consciousness. She was subsequently pronounced dead.
