Shortly after 2:30PM yesterday, 2 January, officers responded to a report that a man had taken a tip jar from a restaurant on Boggy Sand Road and walked off, in the company of a woman. A worker at the restaurant followed the man and confronted him. The man brandished a machete and made off on foot.
Missing teen, 17-year-old Jemma Watson, who was reported missing on Sunday 17 December, has been located and returned safely. She appears to be in good health.
Shortly before 2:10PM on Friday, 22 December, officers responded to a report of a water-related death.
As Christmas Day approaches, the RCIPS will maintain its road enforcement operations, increased community foot patrols and high visibility mobile patrols across the islands as part of the RCIPS’ annual holiday safety operation.
Shortly after 9:10PM on Friday, 17 November, officers responded to a report that a person had been attacked by a dog outside an address on Bankers Road in West Bay.
Shortly before 1:30PM on Wednesday, 20 September, officers responded to a report of an incident at the Seven Mile Public Beach on West Bay Road. It was reported that a man had brandished a knife at another man and made threats against him.
A man, age 52 of West Bay, was arrested and charged with seven offenses related to multiple incidents.
The three missing teens, 15-year-old Jahsmine Ebanks and 16-year-old Shania Beckford, who were reported missing on Wednesday 23 August, and 17-year-old Jemma Watson, who was reported missing on Thursday 24 August have been located and returned safely. All three appear to be in good health.
